GEOSPATIAL ANALYSIS OF SUSTAINABLE LIVING RESIDENTIAL SITE SUITABILITY USING ANALYTICAL HIERARCHY PROCESS

The demand for sustainable housing is rising because of the rapid increase in Malaysia's population. Housing areas with sufficient amenities, services, and accessibility contribute to people's having a higher quality life since those amenities might satisfy their desire particular location. This study intends identify significant parameters, weightage, residential based on selected parameters. Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) Geographical Information System (GIS) platform were used assess appropriate parameters locations adequate facility supply. To determine suitability Ipoh, Perak, weighted overlay approach was performed using computed value scale A site map created three separate levels low, medium, high areas. most important found be health social care, while industrial areas, recreational places less important. With this outcome, purchasers could discover regions that fulfil demands by making decision invest right property.
